Goto Event offers cloud platform for automated support of Accepted and Waiting lists for published events in order to make registrations easy for both participants and event administrators – no more frustrating WhatsApp group chats or similar ad-hoc systems with the burden of harmonizing all registration requests:

Registration lists are presented in a clear way, providing participants and admins with the up-to-date transparent information. Participants can view additional Registration Notes by clicking on ‘Info’ button.

Goto Event services run on Australia based cloud servers with daily backups and don’t rely on other 3rd party providers, such as Google Sheets, etc., making it a very robust independent registration system.

We have been using this online Registration system with great success since June 2022 – Badminton Connect staff love it as it makes social booking mostly hands off from the staff and myself .

Prior to using the new Registration system, the Tuesday Night social group took reservations via WhatsApp group chat which was extremely error prone as players would often overwrite each other’s names during booking frenzy – it was creating a lot of frustration amongst the players and time consuming overhead for me and BC staff to fix the errors every week.

The new Registration system takes online bookings from players and once the session is full, subsequent bookings are placed in the Waiting list. When players in the Accepted list cancel their spots, the system automatically promotes players in the Waiting list and sends SMS notifications to the promoted players solving the problem of players not knowing that they can play due to cancellations by others.
